Welcome to my Clarity and Simplification worksheet. Check out this excerpt from the training video I did for the New York City Department of Education. The next activity under writing skills is Clarity and Simplification. Similar to Redundancy in that it's teaching students to be clear and concise. So, here again, they're given sentences and they need to simplify the sentences while maintaining all the meaning. They can't lose any of the meaning, and they need to make it clear and concise.
